Vietnam is a country of wonders and Hanoi is the jewel, words which are commonly used and not always meant.
The British University Vietnam is located in the heart of Hanoi, close to the old town and Hoan Kiem central lake as well as in the Central Business District. The University provides an excellent environment to work and study, Vietnam is ideally located for travel and research in Asia.
Vietnam is one of the potential powerhouses of Asia and a recent McKinsey Report said it has the potential to emulate South Korea in its development.
The city and the country are an excellent base to widen your knowledge of the region and skills to develop your career as well as join a new University which has exciting plans to develop to over 4,000 students in the next 5 years.
As Dean I can promise you an exciting journey and if you are like me, you will smile every day as being part of this amazing country and its development.

I am delighted to be part of BUV. This is a unique learning atmosphere with modern facilities and supportive colleagues. The students here are proactive and ambitious, and even after three years in Hanoi, teaching them continues to be a rewarding experience for me.The administrative staff is hardworking, supportive and eager to excel. In retrospect, I never thought I was going to be able to live and work away from London, but now BUV and Hanoi have changed my mind. The expat community is well connected, and there are countless networking opportunities!
