GENERAL INFORMATION

• The Foundation Programme is aimed at students intending to take Staffordshire University's degree programmes
• The programme is designed for students who have not yet reached the required level for direct entry as stipulated by Staffordshire University.
• The British University Vietnam offers a choice of five University Preparation Programmes and one Foundation Programme (Duration for each course: 6 weeks) 

(i)            University Preparation Programme 1 (UPP 1)

(ii)          University Preparation Programme 2 (UPP 2)

(iii)         University Preparation Programme 3 (UPP 3)

(iv)         University Preparation Programme 4 (UPP 4)

(v)          University Preparation Programme 5 (UPP 5)

(vi)         Foundation

  COURSE STRUCTURE

• UPP 1: English for Academic Purpose 1  
• UPP 2: English for Academic Purpose 2
• UPP 3: English for Academic Purpose 3
• UPP 4: English for Academic Purpose 4
• UPP 5: English for Academic Purpose 5
• Foundation: Elements of Economics & Introduction to Business Management 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. University Preparation Programme 1 (UPP 1)

• Completed Year 12 ( or Year 11 for part-time class only)
• IELTS 3.5+ (None less than 3.0) or level 1 in BUV Placement Test or equivalent

2. University Preparation Programme 2 (UPP 2)

• Completed Year 12 ( or Year 11 for part-time class only)
• IELTS 4.0+ (None less than 3.5) or level 2 in BUV Placement Test or equivalent 

3. University Preparation Programme 3 (UPP 3)

• Completed Year 12 ( or Year 11 for part-time class only)
• IELTS 4.5+ (None less than 4.0) or level 3 in BUV Placement Test or equivalent 

4. University Preparation Programme 4 (UPP 4)

• Completed Year 12 ( or Year 11 for part-time class only)
• IELTS 5.0+ (None less than 4.5) or level 4 in BUV Placement Test or equivalent  

5. University Preparation Programme 5 (UPP 5)

• Completed Year 12 ( or Year 11 for part-time class only)
• IELTS 5.5+ (None less than 5.0) or level 5 in BUV Placement Test or equivalent 

6. Foundation (Full- time only)

• Completed Year 12
• IELTS 6.0+ (None less than 5.5) or equivalent  

 COURSE START

 APPLICATION DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• One (1) completed application form 
• One (1) notarised copy of High School Graduation test score (if applicable)
• One (1) notarised copy of academic transcript for your grades 10,11 and 12
• One (1) original IELTS/TOEFL English certificates (if taken)
• One (1) notarised copy of ID card/passport.
• Two (2) passport- sized photographs (3x4 cm)
