British University Vietnam - The turning point of my life

Ninh Quang Khoi, a student of International Business Management (2010 - 2013) program at British University Vietnam, recently spoke to Year 12 students to recall the apprehension he felt before completing his high school finals:

  “I still remember the time when I graduated from Luong The Vinh high school with so many choices to consider. My family were worried, especially my mother. I was also stressed by the big pressure of the University Entrance Examinations. Concentration, good health, the right studying methods – those are keys to attain a good result at the examination.”

BUV STUDENTS, YOUNG MENTORS, IN TEEN ENTREPRENEUR COMPETITION

On 24th March 2013, Students from BUV mentored a high school team to victory in the final round of the Teen Entrepreneur-Business Innovation contest for Youth took place at the Women and Development Centre - Vietnam Women's Union. Organised by VietAbroader, a non-profit educational organization, the competition sought to develop entrepreneur skills among high school students.

GATE TO WORLD CLASS FUTURE – OPEN DAY AT BUV

After participating in the activities on Open Day at British University Vietnam, Chu Thao Vy, a grade 12 student excitedly said: “I am really interested in the learning methods of BUV students. After attending the demo class named Digital Learning Class lectured by Mr Matthew at BUV all my worries about the new international studying environment was dispelled. Yen Nga, a current BUV’s student, also helped me with better understanding about the lecture. The class was conducted in English; the lecturers introduced us to many effective softwares and applications for studying. In particular, I realised that Iphones and Ipads can support my studying extremely well when apps are used for active learning. I will apply them in my studying immediately.”
