  • Why should I study at the British University Vietnam ?

    University of London for Bsc Banking and Finance International programme (http://www.londoninternational.ac.uk) and Staffordshire University for International Business Management and Marketing Management (www.staffs.ac.uk)
  • What is the quality of British University Vietnam degrees?
    The students, who are registered with their chosen programmes, are awarded degree by relevant University on successful completion of their studies. Degrees awarded to those students are of an identical standard to those awarded to students who study face to face at Staffordshire University or one of the University of London's Colleges.
  • What programmes does British University Vietnam offer?
    In 2012, British University Vietnam offers three programmes:
      • Banking and Finance (awarded by University of London)
      • International Business Management (awarded by Staffordshire University)
      • Marketing Management (awarded by Staffordshire University)
  • What are the admission criteria?
    Minimum requirements for applicants:
    • 17 years old and above.
    • Completed Year 12 (or equivalent).
    • A pass in a University Foundation Course/ a University Preparation course
  • What are intakes in a year?

            Main intakes in a year:

    • Banking and Finance (awarded by University of London) - October
    • International Business Management (awarded by Staffordshire University) - April, October
    • Marketing Management (awarded by Staffordshire University) - April, October

  • When should I start preparing my application?
    The application requires notarized documents obtained from your high school and your local councils in addition to your application form. You should request the documents well in advance in order to submit the application on time. The deadline for submission of application is normally 3 weeks before the commencement of the course.

  • What is the application fee?
    The application fee is VND 630,000 per applicant. The fee is required to process your application.
  • What are the tuition fees?
    The tuition fee ranges from VND 460,000,000 to VND600,000,000 for a three - year course, depending on the programme you enroll on. These fees are to be finally confirmed prior to the opening of the application period.
  • Are scholarships and awards available?
    Four full scholarships valued more than VND600,000,000 each will be awarded yearly; covering the tuition fee for an undergraduate course at British University Vietnam.   • Can international students apply?
    Yes. International students are welcomed to apply and should complete the application well in advance to allow enough time to process your student visa application to Vietnam.
  • Is there Student Association and/or club?
    Yes. British University Vietnam Student Association (SA) is run by the students for the
    students and represents the student body both internally and externally. One of the major
    roles is to coordinate the University Clubs as well as spearhead charitable work. We
    strongly encourage you to participate and become an ambassador for our association.

  • What are extracurricular activities at British University Vietnam?
    Two of the clubs which the Student Association supports are Dance and Football, where
    funds are provided to support the activity as well as help in setting up and running the
    club, ensuring that all students are encouraged to participate. We hope to welcome you to
    British University Vietnam, join an existing club or think of a new one.
